Through the Bible | 1 Samuel 7-9

With their enemies subdued and their idols put away the Israelites seem to be doing well when they decide they want a king to rule over them in 1 Samuel 7-9. Even as the handsome and powerful Saul is anointed king things still appear to be good, however darker days are looming as they slip back on a path of disobedience.
