A Strange Sermon for Strange Times

Jeremiah was called to do something unconventional in his day and the story of it in Jeremiah 13:1-11 sounds even more peculiar and confusing to us today. Yet, as we dig into the symbolism behind the strangeness, we learn the difference between being useless and useful, being buried or blessed, and being covered with mold or covered by gold.
