When Nehemiah hears about the ruinous state of Jerusalem and the plight of his people, his heart is moved to head up the project of rebuilding the city walls. Despite great opposition, the project is completed in record time and spiritual revival is again seen in the city. Yet it isn’t long before the people fall into their old sinful ways and Nehemiah must step in again to lead them back to God’s plan for them.
