Under the wise leadership of King Solomon things are looking bright for the future of Israel in 1 Kings. Yet as his successors each take their turn at ruling we find the nation splitting in two and the people following the ways of their wicked leadership. However, God will never forsake them and will always have a godly remnant to lead them back into truth.
