Volunteer

The Security Team is tasked with the physical security of attendees at Athey Creek. This commitment includes working during services as well as monthly training and additional skills qualifications. We strive to present a professional security approach and a strong, Christ-centered ministry.

The Production & Media Team manages every element of our weekend service experience, from on-stage to back-stage and everything that goes into our online broadcasting and photography. If you’re creative and thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, Production & Media could be the perfect place for you to serve.

Hospitality volunteers aim to welcome and serve our congregation as well as those who are visiting for the first time. The Hospitality Team offers a wide variety of opportunities to serve before, during, and after all of our midweek and weekend gatherings.

Athey Kids areas are fun, high-energy environments where children from infants through 5th grade learn more about Jesus, learn to follow Him, and how to share His love with others.

Athey Youth exists to create an environment for 6th-12th graders to connect with God powerfully. Athey Youth is where you can use your gifts and talents to help create Christ-centered difference-makers.

Worship is meant to bring glory to the Lord. If you have a heart to lead people in worship, and can sing or play an instrument, we would love to have you send in an audition for our team.

Throughout the year, we have many events that take many hands. Our Christmas Concerts, weddings, and memorials are all events that need volunteers to help with setup, decorating, cleanup, and facilitating meals and snacks. We’d love to have you on our Events Team!

Our Parking/Shuttle Ministry Team is the very first impression our guests have at Athey. The Parking Team strives to create a comfortable environment and an incredible first impression for guests by offering a safe, easy parking experience with a high-energy welcome and clear direction.

Our Medical Response Team consists of individuals who have the skills and passion to provide basic life support and first aid to anyone facing a medical emergency in our church. If you’re a medical professional or first responder willing to use your skills to serve the church body, this may be the team for you!

The Service Support Team is made up of men who help foster a welcoming, distraction-free environment where people can study the Word and receive the gospel at Athey Creek. These volunteers work with the pastors and deacons to connect with, care for, and cover the congregation by seating attendees, managing overflow, and supporting behind-the-scenes logistics that keep services running smoothly.

Throughout the year we have a wide variety of facility and maintenance projects. It takes many hands to keep the grounds, vehicles, and facilities of Athey Creek inviting, clean, and well-maintained. If you enjoy hands-on work, are skilled in a specific trade, and have mid-week availability, we would love to have you volunteer on the Maintenance Team!
